How to un-watch the disgusting cat in blender video?

Recently, cat in blender was trending on Twitter. When I first saw the trend, I thought it would be some sort of a joke. But later that night, I found out that someone had actually done it and its video is out there making rounds on the internet. It depicts the unimaginably tragic fate of a cat, leaving many of us with heavy hearts.

The thought alone is highly disturbing and made me sick to my stomach. It’s difficult to wrap my head around what drives people to do such horrendous things. As of writing this post, the person behind this video is still not identified. There is plenty of gore content out there on the internet, and I am sure of it. But it shouldn’t be easily accessible on a popular social media site like Twitter. Lately it seems like Twitter has been having difficulties with content moderation. And how it took so much time to stop this video from spreading is a whole another issue.

Before this incident, hearing the words cat videos brought a smile to my face. But now everyone out there is talking about only one cat video, cat in blender. I want us all to move past this incident and think of cat videos as what we did before. I have two cats, Maxx & Joey, and I love them both, more than anything in the world. Even before I adopted them, watching cute and funny cat videos on the internet was my me time.

I believe cat videos offer us a therapeutic escape, allowing us to immerse ourselves in moments of laughter, cuteness, and pure delight. It’s not without reason that they have become incredibly popular on the internet. These adorable videos have a unique ability to positively impact our lives. A study published in the journal Computers in Human Behavior suggests that watching cat videos can help manage mood and emotional distress.

If we are feeling down, the adorable and heart melting moments captured in these videos have the power to make us feel better again. They can lift our spirits, make us laugh, and leave us feeling more positive and content. People often associate cat videos with cuteness, humor, and entertainment. Because cats can be good companions for us, offering a sense of emotional support and connection. Many people find comfort and solace in the presence of a cat, as they can be affectionate, attentive, and responsive to their human caregivers.

I hope if anyone is seriously affected by this whole incident, they find solace and healing. Sadly, there is no time machine that can help us go back in time. But we can be mindful about the content we consume on the internet. Remember that cat videos can offer a refuge from the darkness, providing laughter, cuteness, and happiness that can help mend our wounded hearts. If you have cats at your home, and you enjoy making their videos, I encourage you to start uploading them to YouTube or any other social media platform. To share with the world and be part of a purrfect family on the internet. A family which enjoys and shares positive cat videos.

I started uploading videos of my cats to YouTube because of my parents. They live in another town and often asked me to send them my cats’ videos. But today there are many more people who enjoy the videos I put out. If we all upload positive content on the internet, I am sure we can outnumber every cat in blender video out there. Believe that in the world, there is more good than evil. And on that note, below I’ll link some of the short videos of my cats, that you might enjoy.

Cheers.
